Το τραγούδι "My Girlfriend's Girlfriend" μας γυρίζει πίσω, στο μακρινό 1996. Κυκλοφόρησε ως single και προετοίμαζε το έδαφος για τον δίσκο των Type O Negative "October Rust". Το (αισθησιακό) εξώφυλλο του single και το (αντίστοιχης αισθητικής) μουσικό βίντεο έδωσαν extra ώθηση τόσο στο τραγούδι όσο και στο Αμερικάνικο συγκρότημα.

Σήμερα θα ασχοληθούμε με την διασκευή των Crematory στο εν λόγω μουσικό κομμάτι, η οποία θα αποτελέσει μέρος του δίσκου "Destination" που αναμένεται στα ξεκινήματα του επόμενου μήνα (2 Μαΐου 2025) μέσω της δισκογραφικής εταιρείας Roar / Rock of Angels. Οι Crematory μας λένε σχετικά:

«A cover version by Type O Negative.(RIP Pete Steele)! This song is actually made for Crematory and fits our groove perfectly. We had the pleasure of playing a few festivals with Type O Negative and got to know and appreciate the guys in the mid-90s.

For us this is one of the biggest gothic metal hits and therefore we wanna pay respect to Type O Negative with our cover version. In addition, we invited Michelle Darkness (End of Green) as a guest vocalist for this song, who pays excellent homage to Pete Steel's vocal range and delivers a terrific duet in combination with Felix.»
