Οι Mindless Sinner υπάρχουν στον "χώρο" από το ξεκίνημα της δεκαετίας του ογδόντα. Το Σουηδικό συγκρότημα δημιουργήθηκε το μακρινό 1981 (τους πρώτους μήνες αρχικά ως Purple Haze κι εν συνεχεία ως Genocide) και συνεχίζει (με μία ακόμη αλλαγή ονόματος -"σκέτο" Mindless την τριετία 1987-90- και κάποια διαλείμματα) μέχρι τις ημέρες μας.

Στα 80s κυκλοφόρησε ένα ep ("Master of Evil" - 1983) και δύο "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους ("Turn On the Power" - 1986, "Missin' Pieces" - 1989). Επανήλθαν δισκογραφικά το φθινόπωρο του 2015 με το album "The New Messiah", το 2018 "έβγαλαν" το ζωντανά ηχογραφημένο "Keeping It True" και προ τετραετίας τον δίσκο "Poltergeist".

Το νέο τους πόνημα τιτλοφορείται "Metal Merchants", αποτελείται από 13 τραγούδια (δέκα στην έκδοση του βινυλίου) και κυκλοφόρησε σε cd, βινύλιο (750 κόπιες), κασέτα (150 αντίτυπα) και σε ψηφιακή μορφή προ μηνός (25 Οκτωβρίου 2024) από την δισκογραφική εταιρεία High Roller Records.

Ακούμε τους Christer Göransson (φωνητικά), Magnus Danneblad (κιθάρα), Christer Carlson (μπάσο), Linus Melchiorsen (τύμπανα) και Jerker Edman (κιθάρα). Είναι χαρακτηριστικό το ότι τα τέσσερα από τα πέντε μέλη (όλοι πλην του drummer δηλαδή) βρίσκονται στους Mindless Sinner από τα πρώτα χρόνια της Σουηδικής μπάντας...
