Οι Dokken δημιουργήθηκαν το μακρινό 1997 και διαλύθηκαν δώδεκα έτη αργότερα (1989). Επανήλθαν το 1993 και συνεχίζουν μέχρι τις ημέρες μας. Το τελευταίο στουντιακό album που κυκλοφόρησαν πριν το τετραετές διάλειμμά τους ήταν το "Back for the Attack" τον Νοέμβριο του 1987 το οποίο αποτέλεσε και την μεγαλύτερη (εμπορική) επιτυχία τους. Το τραγούδι με το οποίο μας... συστήθηκε ο δίσκος ήταν (ως εναρκτήριο) το "Kiss of Death" (που είναι και ένα από τα δημοφιλέστερα του συγκροτήματος)...
