Οι Desert Near The End μας έρχονται από την Αθήνα. Σχηματίσθηκαν το μακρινό 1997 ως Stormbringer, το 2001 μετονομάσθηκαν σε The Eventide και το 2010 πήραν το τωρινό τους όνομα. «Extreme Power / Thrash Metal» χαρακτηρίζουν το μουσικό τους ύφος.

Έχουν κυκλοφορήσει έξι "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους (συν τρία singles), με πλέον πρόσφατο το full length album "Tides of Time", το οποίο "βγήκε" προ ημερών (6 Δεκεμβρίου 2024) σε cd και σε ψηφιακή μορφή μέσω της δισκογραφικής εταιρείας Theogonia Records...
