On Atlas' Shoulders - 'Wings of Icarus' (official music video)
Verse 1
Come here, son, a word of advice
In this world, many dangers lie
Some are big and some are small
But the human’s pride is the worst of all
I’ve seen people far and wide
Who fell from grace into their demise
All because they couldn’t see
That they approached too carelessly
Bridge 1
Don’t you worry I’ll be fine
Let me soar into the sky
I will find my answers there
Sunlight guides me through the air
Chorus 1
Into the winds
On the wings of Icarus
High above the world
Close to the sun
You’re flying too high
Ease up, my dear Icarus
Pride shall have its fall
Why can’t you see?
Verse 2
Listen, son, don’t be a fool
Arrogance, a tainted jewel
I know what is best for you
I can show you what to do
You don’t know the pain I know
Let me save you from it all
The sun is lying - a big deceit
Don’t be blinded by its light
Bridge 2
I will fall and I will rise
Let me find my strength inside
I must make my own mistakes
No matter what it takes
Chorus 1 x2
Chorus 2
I soared too high
Me, the great Icarus!
Came crashing from the sky
With blazing wings I fall
I can finally see
Come here, son, a word of advice
In this world, many dangers lie
Some are big and some are small
But the human’s pride is the worst of all
I’ve seen people far and wide
Who fell from grace into their demise

Οι On Atlas' Shoulders μας έρχονται από την Γερμανία. Heavy metal συγκρότημα ("On Atlas' Shoulders - Heavy Metal from Germany!" μας συστήνονται), το οποίο δημιουργήθηκε προ εξαετίας (το 2018) και χαρακτηρίζουν την μουσική τους κάπως έτσι:
Έχουν κυκλοφορήσει δύο "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους ("Invictus" 2020, "Hyperion" 2021), ένα ep ("A Dystopian Prequel" 2022) και μπόλικα singles.
«Memorable melodies, an impressive vocal range and backing vocals combined with harmonized guitar riffs, powerful solos and thundering double bass characterize their sound.»

Bio: «On Atlas' Shoulders - Heavy Metal from Germany! Memorable melodies, an impressive vocal range and backing vocals combined with harmonized guitar riffs, powerful solos and thundering double bass characterize their sound.
The band was founded in late 2018 in Frankfurt, Germany, by Marius Bönisch (vocals) and Benjamin Chadwick (guitar) and completed with Björn Anders (guitar), Leonard Pick (drums) and Philipp "Sam" Brecht (bass). They released their debut album “Invictus” in 2020, second album "Hyperion" in 2021 and EP "A Dystopian Prequel" in 2022.
The name On Atlas’ Shoulders originates from the saying “standing on the shoulders of giants”. In science and philosophy, this theme implies that all progress is made by building upon previous discoveries. Individuals such as Albert Einstein or Sir Isaac Newton resemble the so-called “giants” who made essential breakthroughs and enabled further research and progression.
Instead of remaining in their shadows, progress is made by standing on their shoulders and using their knowledge as a catalyst for future discoveries. On Atlas’ Shoulders transfers this concept into the musical realm. Musicians and bands are influenced by the preceeding musical giants, build upon their work and transform the music into something new.»
