Silent Winter - 'Hellstorm' (official music video)

Ουτοπία (από το αρνητικό μόριο ού + τόπος). Μπήκε στο λεξιλόγιό μας το μακρινό 1516. Τότε εκδόθηκε το μυθιστόρημα "Utopia" του Thomas More. "Utopia" ονόμασαν το νέο τους δισκογραφικό πόνημα και οι Silent Winter. Οι Silent Winter μας έρχονται από την Θεσσαλία (Βόλος).

Δημιουργήθηκαν στα μέσα της δεκαετίας του ενενήντα (κυκλοφορώντας δύο demos: "Silent Winter" - 1995 και "War Of An Angel" - 1997) και ενεργοποιήθηκαν εκ νέου το 2018 "βγάζοντας" το ep "The War Is Here" και τα full length albums "The Circles Of Hell" (2019), "Empire of Sins" (2021). Ο δίσκος "Utopia" αναμένεται στα τελειώματα του τρίτου φθινοπωρινού μήνα μέσω της δισκογραφικής εταιρείας No Remorse Records...

Δελτίο τύπου: «Silent Winter is a melodic Heavy-Power Metal band formed in Volos, Greece in 1995. Drawing strong influences from renowned acts such as Stratovarius, Helloween and Gamma Ray, the band initially gained recognition in the underground scene with their demos, participating in numerous festivals and concerts.

Unfortunately, the band disbanded in 1999 due to unavoidable circumstances affecting the members. However, after an extensive hiatus of 19 years, they made a triumphant return in 2018 with their self-produced EP titled "The War Is Here" and in 2019, Silent Winter released their debut album "The Circles of Hell", receiving an overwhelmingly positive response globally.

In 2020 they released a fresh single entitled "Nightfall," accompanied by a limited edition 7" vinyl release in March of that year. Their second full-length album, "Empire Of Sins" was released in March 2021 spreading the band's name in every corner of the world, while it was also released in a Japanese version.

While producing captivating lyric and music videos for their powerful music, Silent Winter also performed in highly acclaimed festivals sharing the stage with a few of their heroes, such as Judas Priest, Helloween and Rhapsody of Fire.

The new album "Utopia", the band's best release so far, is engineered, mixed and mastered by Steve Lado (who has worked with bands such as Sacred Outcry, Sunburst and Need) and the recording sessions were held at Kalovidouris Sound & Light Studio, Volos, Greece.
