Neptune - 'The End Of Time' (official music video)

Οι Neptune μας έρχονται από την Σουηδία. Δημιουργήθηκαν το μακρινό 1979 (ως Warriens μέχρι το 1980) και δραστηριοποιήθηκαν στα 80s. Τέσσερα demos ο δισκογραφικός τους απολογισμός, ενώ το 1986 ηχογράφησαν στα Sountrade Studios ένα LP, το οποίο δεν κυκλοφόρησε ποτέ. Tο 2017 επανασυνδέθηκαν και (το επόμενο έτος) κυκλοφόρησαν δίσκο - συλλογή ("Land of Northern").

Τον Σεπτέμβρη του 2019 κυκλοφόρησαν ένα ep τεσσάρων τραγουδιών ("The Last Flight of the Rafven") και το 2020 έφθασε η στιγμή για τον πρώτο ολοκληρωμένο τους δίσκο. "Northern Steel" ο τίτλος. Ακολούθησαν πέρυσι το ep "The Rebirth" και η συλλογή "Join the Battle". "End Of Time" τιτλοφορείται το νέο τους δισκογραφικό πόνημα, το οποίο κυκλοφόρησε σήμερα με το δελτίο τύπου να μας λέει σχετικά:

«In today's uncertain times, marked by global unrest, political dynamics, and the overwhelming influence of news and social media, it is no surprise that we question our direction. The lyrics of "The End of Time" carry a profound, multi-layered message. At its core, it suggests that humanity and Earth have faced their end multiple times, yet somehow managed to endure.

From the collapse of the Viking Age, through the devastation of the Black Death, the turmoil of the Thirty Years' War, the upheaval of the French Revolution, and the horrors of both World Wars, to the recent pandemic, the lingering question remains: are we just a mad man and his big red button away from the “The end of time”?

Neptune, a melodic metal band from Stockholm, has roots that trace back to the 1980s. Their musical journey began in the early '80s and continued with the recording of an EP that remained unreleased until 2018, when it was finally issued along with a collection of earlier demo recordings.

Building on their legacy, they released their debut full-length album, “Northern Steel,” in 2020. Not resting on their laurels, they followed up in 2022 with the EP *The Rebirth*, which features new recordings of four of their songs from the '80s. Their third full-length album, *End of Time*, is scheduled for release on September 20, 2024.»
