Συμπληρώθηκαν σαράντα από τότε που οι Holocaust συστήθηκαν δισκογραφικά στο μουσικόφιλο κοινό. Ήταν Ιούλιος του 1980 όταν κυκλοφορούσε το ντεμπούτο τους. Επρόκειτο για ep τριών τραγουδιών υπό τον τίτλο "Heavy Metal Mania".

Το ομότιτλο μουσικό κομμάτι δε ("Heavy Metal Mania"), το οποίο βρίσκουμε και στον πρώτο full length δίσκο της Σκωτσέζικης μπάντας "The Nightcomers", έγινε ένας από τους ύμνους της "σκληρής" μουσικής. Σύμφωνα με την μπάντα πρόκειται για το πρώτο τραγούδι που χρησιμοποιεί την φράση Heavy Metal στον τίτλο...
