Τον Οκτώβριο του 1983 κυκλοφορούσε το single των (του) Dio "Rainbow in the Dark". Περιελάμβανε το ομότιτλο τραγούδι (στην πρώτη πλευρά του βινυλίου) και τις "ζωντανές" εκτελέσεις των μουσικών κομματιών "Stand Up and Shout", "Straight Through the Heart" στην δεύτερη. Το τραγούδι "Rainbow in the Dark" το πρωτογνωρίσαμε στον δίσκο - ντεμπούτο "Holy Diver" που κυκλοφόρησε λίγους μήνες νωρίτερα (τον Μάιο της ίδιας χρονιάς).

Στην παρούσα ανάρτηση σας παρουσιάζουμε μία "ζωντανή" εκτέλεση του εν λόγω μουσικού κομματιού (από το live album "Holy Diver Live" που "βγήκε" το 2006).
