Πέρυσι έλαβε χώρα η δισκογραφική επιστροφή των Heavy Load μετά από ουσιαστικά τέσσερις δεκαετίες. Ο διάδοχος του album "Stronger than Evil" (Οκτώβριος 1983) και τέταρτος "ολοκληρωμένος" δίσκος των Σουηδών metallers φέρει τον τίτλο "Riders of the Ancient Storm" και κυκλοφόρησε τον περασμένο Οκτώβριο.

Για το ποιον των Heavy Load δε νομίζω ότι χρειάζεται ιδιαίτερη αναφορά (ή μήπως όχι;), τουλάχιστον στους σταθερούς - συνειδητοποιημένους αναγνώστες της ιστοσελίδας μας. Πρόκειται για ένα από τα πλέον θρυλικά συγκροτήματα της underground 80s heavy metal σκηνής.

Δημιουργήθηκαν στα μέσα της δεκαετίας του εβδομήντα και κυκλοφόρησαν τρεις "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους (συν ένα ep, τρία singles, ένα demo, μία βιντεοκασέτα και μία συλλογή) μέχρι το 1987 που έμειναν ενεργοί. Επέστρεψαν προ επταετίας και η επιστροφή τους εκτός από συναυλίες έχει (και) δισκογραφικό αποτέλεσμα...
