Έμαθα τον Gary Moore (4 Απριλίου 1952 - 6 Φεβρουαρίου 2011) με τον δίσκο "Wild Frontier" (την είχα λιώσει την κασέτα). Τα προηγούμενα album του Ιρλανδού κιθαρίστα τα άκουσα αργότερα. Οτιδήποτε κι αν κυκλοφόρησε μέχρι και το "After the War" (1989) μου αρέσει.
Η blues στροφή του από το "Still Got the Blues" και μετά δεν μου άρεσε κι εξακολουθεί να μην μου αρέσει, αλλά περί ορέξεως... Το τραγούδι "Friday On My Mind", του οποίου το μουσικό βίντεο σας παρουσιάζουμε - υπενθυμίζουμε σήμερα, δεν είναι δικό του.
Πρόκειται για διασκευή. Η αυθεντική εκτέλεση μας έρχεται το μακρινό 1966 από τους The Easybeats. Το γνωρίσαμε μέσα από τον ομότιτλο δίσκο του Αυστραλιανού συγκροτήματος (στην Ευρώπη κυκλοφόρησε υπό τον τίτλο "Good Friday"), ενώ "βγήκε" και αυτόνομα ως single (με το τραγούδι "Made My Bed, Gonna Lie in It" στην δεύτερη πλευρά του βινυλίου). Ο έκτος solo δίσκος του Gary Moore ("Wild Frontier") κυκλοφόρησε τον Μάρτιο του 1987...
