Ο (εμβληματικός) δίσκος "Burn" σηματοδότησε μία νέα εποχή των Deep Purple, με το (αποκαλούμενο ως) Mark III line-up. Ritchie Blackmore, Jon Lord και Ian Paice παραμένουν και πλαισιώνονται από τον David Coverdale (στα φωνητικά) και τον Glenn Hughes (φωνητικά και μπάσο).

Η Mark III της σύνθεσης της μπάντας μας έδωσε μόλις δύο full length albums, αλλά τι δίσκους!!! "Burn" και "Stormbringer".

Το τραγούδι "Might Just Take Your Life" αποτελεί μέρος του πρώτου (από τους δύο). Είναι το δεύτερο μουσικό κομμάτι της πλευράς του βινυλίου, ενώ κυκλοφόρησε και αυτόνομα, ως single με το τραγούδι "Coronarias Redig" στην δεύτερη πλευρά του στην Ευρώπη και την αποκαλούμενη στέρεο έκδοση του "Might Just Take Your Life" στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες.
