High Priest - 'Riddle Master' (Manilla Road cover)

Οι High Priest μας έρχονται από τον Καναδά. Διμελές συγκρότημα (επικού) doom metal, το οποίο σχηματίσθηκε προ τριετίας (2021) και μας παρουσιάζονται κάπως έτσι: «We're a two piece doom metal project. Slow and heavy wins the race.»

Μας συστήθηκαν πέρυσι (24 Νοεμβρίου 2023) με το split που συμμετείχαν μαζί με τους Ice Howl, Mourn the Light και Archdruid. Οι High Priest έλαβαν μέρος με τρία τραγούδια ("In the Hall of the High Priest", "The Wizard's Gold", "Old Men and Their Lies").

Σήμερα θα τους ακούσουμε να διασκευάζουν το τραγούδι των Manilla Road "Riddle Master" (από τον δίσκο του 1983 "Crystal Logic") και να μας λένε σχετικά: «The High Priest offers a tribute to the great Manilla Road on this most holy of days». Την μπάντα απαρτίζουν ο τραγουδιστής (των Gatekeeper, Odinfist κλπ) Tyler Anderson και ο κιθαρίστας Curtis Baycroft...
