Τον Ιούλιο του 2002 οι Manowar υποδέχθηκαν (δισκογραφικά) τον νέο αιώνα και την νέα χιλιετία με την κυκλοφορία του album "Warriors of the World", έξι χρόνια μετά το "Louder than Hell". Ανάμεσα στις (ένδεκα) συνθέσεις του δίσκου βρίσκουμε και την διασκευή στην άρια "Nessun dorma" (από την όπερα "Turandot" του Giacomo Antonio Domenico Michele Secondo Maria Puccini).

Μία άκρως "τολμηρή" επιλογή αν δεν είσαι αφελής (και ο DeMaio δεν είναι), αλλά ο Eric στάθηκε στο ύψος των περιστάσεων τηρουμένων των αναλογιών. Σε συνεντεύξεις της εποχής ο Adams έλεγε πως πριν το ηχογραφήσει πήγαινε σε θέατρα και παρακολουθούσε όπερα μόνο και μόνο για να παρατηρήσει τον τρόπο με τον οποίο τραγουδάνε οι τενόροι...
