Οι Fifth Angel είναι μία από τις πλέον ενδιαφέρουσες περιπτώσεις heavy metal συγκροτημάτων της δεκαετίας του ογδόντα. Προσπάθησαν να εξισορροπήσουν το εμπορικό με το "ποιοτικό" στοιχείο και σε μεγάλο βαθμό το κατάφεραν.

Κυκλοφόρησαν δύο "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους ("Fifth Angel" 1986, "Time Will Tell" 1989), ένα demo, ένα single, ενώ συμμετείχαν στην συλλογή "Megahurtz" (μαζί με Sanctuary, Riot και Slammin' Watusis) και στο split "Interchords - Words and Music" μαζί με τους Sanctuary.

Μετά την κυκλοφορία του "Time Will Tell" η Αμερικάνικη μπάντα διαλύθηκε. Επανήλθε το 2010 για το "Keep It True". Ακολούθησε μία εμφάνιση στο Seattle και πλέον γύρισε "για τα καλά" το 2017 συνεχίζοντας μέχρι τις ημέρες μας "βγάζοντας" δύο ακόμη δίσκους ("The Third Secret" 2018 και "When Angels Kill" 2023).

Το ομώνυμο τραγούδι τους ήταν αυτό ουσιαστικά που (μας) τους σύστησε ως εναρκτήριο μουσικό κομμάτι στο demo του 1985. Την επόμενη χρονιά (1986) κυκλοφόρησε και αυτόνομα ως single (επτάρι βινύλιο - US Promo Flexi Disc) και φυσικά αποτέλεσε μέρος του (ομώνυμου) ντεμπούτου του Αμερικάνικου μουσικού σχήματος.

Το ομώνυμο ντεμπούτο των Fifth Angel κυκλοφόρησε το φθινόπωρο (15 Σεπτεμβρίου) του 1986 και γνώρισε αρκετές επανακυκλοφορίες με πλέον πρόσφατη αυτή της Metal Blade, τον Μάιο του 2018, σε cd και βινύλιο...
