Στο μεταίχμιο δύο χιλιετιών δημιουργήθηκαν οι Burning Shadows. Power metal συγκρότημα εξ' Αμερικής που αναφέρει ως (μουσικές) επιρροές μπάντες όπως οι: Iced Earth, Blind Guardian, Manowar, Jag Panzer, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Megadeth και στιχουργικές τους συγγραφείς Tolkien - Lovecraft. Έχουν κυκλοφορήσει τέσσερα full length albums, έξι EPs και ένα live album / DVD.

Το πλέον πρόσφατο δισκογραφικό πόνημα των Burning Shadows τιτλοφορείται "In Memoriam" και κυκλοφόρησε στα τελειώματα του περασμένου έτους. Αποτελείται από εννέα τραγούδια - διασκευές που ηχογραφήθηκαν όταν ο τραγουδιστής Tom Davy ήταν μέλος της μπάντας (αποχώρησε το 2021 και απεβίωσε πέρυσι, στις 4 Νοεμβρίου 2023).
