Οι Femme Fatale δημιουργήθηκαν στην Αλμπουκέρκη (Albuquerque, New Mexico) το μακρινό 1987 και έμειναν ενεργοί για μία τριετία, μέχρι το 1990. Επανήλθαν το 2013 (ως πλήρως γυναικεία μπάντα πλέον) και διαλύθηκαν οριστρικά(;) το 2019 γιατί η τραγουδίστρια Lorraine Lewis έγινε μέλος των Vixen.

Δύο full length albums (συν κάποια singles) ο δισκογραφικός απολογισμός των Femme Fatale: το ομώνυμο ντεμπούτο τους "βγήκε" το φιθνόπωρο του 1988, ενώ ο δίσκος "One More for the Road" που ηχογραφήθηκε στην πρώτη περίοδο του συγκροτήματος (1989 και 1990) κυκλοφόρησε το 2016.

Το τραγούδι "Waiting For The Big One" αποτέλεσε μέρος του ντεμπούτου τους (το εναρκτήριο μουσικό κομμάτι), ενώ κυκλοφόρησε και αυτόνομα, ως single, με το τραγούδι "My Baby's Gun" στην δεύτερη πλευρά του βινυλίου...
