Το 1995 οι Wicked Maraya και μετά την κυκλοφορία του ντεμπούτου τους αποφάσισαν να αλλάξουν όνομα, για την ακρίβεια να "ψαλιδίσουν" το ήδη υπάρχον, από Wicked Maraya σε (σκέτο) Maraya. Ως Maraya μας συστήθηκαν με τον δίσκο "No Hope for Humanity...?" που κυκλοφόρησε το επόμενο έτος (1996).

Τον δίσκο μας συστήνει (ως εναρκτήριο μουσικό κομμάτι) το τραγούδι "Awakening", του οποίου το βίντεο σας παρουσιάζουμε - υπενθυμίζουμε σήμερα.

Οι Wicked Maraya μας έρχονται από τις ΗΠΑ. Δημιουργήθηκαν στο πρώτο μισό της δεκαετίας του ογδόντα υπό το όνομα Mystic, συνέχισαν (1989-1995) ως Wicked Maraya, το "πετσόκοψαν" σε σκέτο Maraya (1995-1998) και επανήλθαν το 2011 με το "κλασικό" τους όνομα.

Έχουν κυκλοφορήσει τέσσερα full length albums ("Cycles" 1994, "No Hope for Humanity...?" 1996, "Counterculture" 1997, "Lifetime in Hell" 2016), ένα demo ("Wicked Maraya" 1993), ένα single ("Chapter V") και ένα ep ("Chapters")...
