Παρακολουθήστε το μουσικό βίντεο με την διασκευή των Signum Regis στο (κλασικό) τραγούδι των Megadeth, "Tornado of Souls" (το οποίο γνωρίσαμε μέσα από τον δίσκο "Rust In Peace" που κυκλοφόρησε το 1990). Ο μπασίστας της μπάντας Ronnie König μας λέει σχετικά:

«When I was at the very beginning of my music journey and we (me and old friends) were trying to pick some famous songs and play them, I suggested to play one of my favourite songs from one of my favourite bands - Megadeth - Tornado Of Souls.

It was maybe 25 years ago? I can't remember. I had no idea how difficult this song was back then. I had no idea how difficult the Marty Friedman solo was. I didn't know that even the bass line was beyond my skills. Of course, we did not pick this song back then.

Now fast forward to 2023/2024, being surrounded by super talented musicians of Signum Regis, we did it! Why did we do this song now? Despite the old story from ~25 years ago that I just mentioned, it's not really a continuation of that story.

It's not like I was chasing the dream to cover this song for the last 25 years. It is true that it was me who suggested this song, but I suggested it only, because I knew Filip Kolus was practicing the solo a couple of years ago.

I knew that Filip was able to play it better than most guitarists out there, so why not capture it? It would be a shame not to record it and show it to the world, right? I knew that Jaro would be able to do the drums, so the last thing that was questionable - was the singing.

I was not able to imagine João Fortinho doing the Dave Mustaine vocals. He has never been a hard core Megadeth fan, he has never played any Megadeth covers before. So that's what we had to test before we decided to do the whole thing as a band - I asked Jota if he could give it a shot.

To my surprise (and probably everyone else in the band?) - he just nailed it perfectly. To me, it is pretty impressive that Jota is able to choose if he wants to sound like Michael Kiske on Monday and like Dave Mustaine on Tuesday. We did our very best to honor this classic the way it deserves and we hope you'll enjoy it!»
