Scanner - 'The Cosmic Race' (official album stream)

Full length album νούμερο επτά για τους Scanner, οι οποίοι ουσιαστικά επιστρέφουν δισκογραφικά μετά από εννέα έτη. "The Cosmic Race" ο τίτλος και κυκλοφόρησε προ ημερών. Η ιστορία των Scanner ξεκινά το μακρινό 1977. Τότε δημιουργήθηκαν οι Reinforce. Πέντε χρόνια αργότερα μετονομάσθηκαν σε Lions Breed και μία τετραετία αργότερα (και μετά από ένα demo κι ένα full length album) σε Scanner.

Από την παλαιά φρουρά έχει (απο)μείνει ο Axel "A.J." Julius, ενώ "παλιός" μπορεί να θεωρηθεί και ο τραγουδιστής Ευθύμης Ιωαννίδης που "έκλεισε" είκοσι χρόνια στο συγκρότημα. Νέες προσθήκες αποτελούν ο κιθαρίστας Dominik Rothe και ο drummer Sascha Kurpanek, οι οποίοι δεν μετέχουν στις ηχογραφήσεις του καινούριου δίσκου (εντάχθηκαν αργότερα)...
