Αλήθεια χρειάζεται εισαγωγικό κείμενο για να προλογίσω το lyric video εντός από των ωραιότερων τραγουδιών στο ευρύτερο φάσμα της "σκληρής" μουσικής; Αν συνυπολογίσω το ότι κυκλοφόρησε πριν 33 έτη, πιθανότατα ναι (τουλάχιστον για τους νεότερους ηλικιακά αναγνώστες μας).

Κυκλοφόρησε ως single τον Ιανουάριο του 1991, ενώ έναν μήνα αργότερα αποτέλεσε μέρος (το εναρκτήριο μουσικό κομμάτι) του ομότιτλου δίσκου. Είναι το μεγαλύτερο (ως προς την χρονική διάρκεια) single που κυκλοφόρησαν ξεπερνώντας και το "Bohemian Rhapsody".

Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι στο σημείο με την φλαμένκο κιθάρα ακούμε (πέραν του Brian May) τον Steve Howe (των Yes). Στο (σχεδόν επτάλεπτης διάρκειας) "Innuendo" παρελαύνουν κλασικό rock, latin, όπερα, heavy metal με μία prog (με την ευρύτερη έννοια του όρου) αύρα. Επικό (και αθάνατο) αριστούργημα! Λίγους μήνες αργότερα (στις 24 Νοεμβρίου 1991) ο Freddie Mercury αποχαιρετούσε τον μάταιο τούτο κόσμο σε ηλικία 45 ετών...
