Boneyard 2023 - A Year in Review (video)

Ονομάζονται Boneyard και μας έρχονται από τον Καναδά. Female fronted melodic heavy metal band (όπως μας παρουσιάζεται), η οποία σχηματίσθηκε το 2015 αρχικά ως συγκρότημα διασκευών. Δύο χρόνια αργότερα οι Boneyard άρχισαν να συνθέτουν το δικό τους υλικό.

Έχουν κυκλοφορήσει έναν "ολοκληρωμένο" δίσκο ("Oathbreaker") το 2020 και φέτος θα "βγάλουν" το δεύτερο full length album τους υπό τον τίτλο "Black Static". Στην παρούσα ανάρτηση θα παρακολουθήσουμε τους Boneyard να επιχειρούν -μέσω βίντεο- μία μίνι ανασκόπηση του περασμένου έτους (2023), να καταγράφουν τα πεπραγμένα τους και να μας λένε σχετικά:

Bio: «Since their 2015 inception, Canada's Boneyard has hit the ground running. 2020's "Oathbreaker" launched the band into the forefront of the music scene attracting the attention of Italy's WormHoleDeath Records. The label, and their affiliates, re-released the album to a broader market, including Japan.

Grammy nominated and Juno winning mastering engineer Maor Appelbaum (Faith No More, Annihilator, Dokken) mastered the album in Los Angeles. With it came singles and videos for the songs Fates Warning, Oathbreaker, Born Again and Evil Ways.

Boneyard has been privileged to be invited to and perform at numerous Western Canadian festivals including Schwabfest and the long running Shockerfest. Locally, they have supported touring acts like Disposable Heroes, Who Made Who and Deadwolff to name a few.

The band looks to build on the momentum and success of the first album. They are currently recording songs for their sophomore release at Edmonton's Rattleshock Studios.

The forthcoming album will also feature the band's latest lineup addition of bassist Lezzy Osbourne (PantyPsychotixx), and guitarist Gary Ursulak (Nekroskope, Reign In The Abyss), who joined the band just after the release of "Oathbreaker".»
