Anubis - 'Devour' (official lyric video)

Μετά από πέντε χρόνια στο "κουρμπέτι" (έξι πρέπει να γράψω κανονικά αφού το album θα "βγει" το 2024) έφθασε η στιγμή για τον πρώτο ολοκληρωμένο δίσκο των Anubis. Λεπτομέρειες δεν υπάρχουν ακόμη διαθέσιμες πέραν του ότι θα κυκλοφορήσει στις αρχές του νέου έτους μέσω της δισκογραφικής εταιρείας M-Theory Audio συν το lyric video του τραγουδιού "Devour" που προετοιμάζει το έδαφος.

Η ανακοίνωση του Αμερικάνικου μουσικού σχήματος αναφέρει σχετικά:

«Well, you all have followed us through 5 years, 9 releases, 15 members, 1 global pandemic, and over 60 shows.

Now it's the moment all of us have been waiting for: We have officially signed with M-Theory Audio - joining the likes of bands we've been listening to and influenced by since we were teenagers like Into Eternity, Hecate Enthroned, etc and some of the best up-and-coming bands like Silver Talon, Vintersea, Toxic Ruin, Hazzard, and literally too many others to mention.

Οι Anubis μας έρχονται από την Καλιφόρνια. Σχετικά νέο συγκρότημα καθώς σχηματίσθηκε προ πενταετίας. Μέχρι τώρα επικοινωνούν την μουσική τους μέσω (αυτοχρηματοδοτούμενων) EPs ("Ashes" 2019, "Anubis" 2020, "Hurricane Of Hate" 2020, "Eternal Youth, Eternal Night" 2022) και singles ("Tornado Of Souls", "The Great Divide", "Decreation Day", "Wake Up with the Wolves")...

Devin Reiche may be a familiar name to fans of thrash and underground metal as he’s also the bassist in Bay Area thrashers Hatchet, but Devin actually lives in L.A. and power metal has always been his first love and calling. Working diligently Devin has developed his vocal abilities and become quite the commanding frontman.

Joining Devin in Anubis are guitarists Eleazar Llerenas (Delusional Fate) and Justin Escamilla (Tower Guard), bassist Will Buckley and drummer Robin Salazar, all musicians who’ve been cutting their teeth in the L.A. music scene. Anubis has opened for bands like Raven, Rhapsody of Fire, Warbringer, Heathen, Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens, Allegaeon, Hammerfall, Metal Church, Exmortus, Hatriot, and placing at the Wacken Metal Battle US final.»
