Χρειάζεται άραγε εισαγωγικός πρόλογος για ένα από τα ωραιότερα heavy metal τραγούδι της δεκαετίας του ογδόντα (κι όχι μόνο); Για τον ύμνο των Savatage "Power Of The Night" το εναρκτήριο μουσικό κομμάτι του ομότιτλου δίσκου των Αμερικανών metallers που κυκλοφόρησε τον Μάιο του 1985.

Την μουσική έγραψε ο Criss Oliva και τους στίχους του τραγουδιού ο αδερφός του (Jon). Ο δίσκος γνώρισε πληθώρα επανακυκλοφοριών με πλέον πρόσφατη την προπέρσινη (12 Νοεμβρίου 2021) της Ear Music Classics σε βινύλιο με ένα επιπλέον μουσικό κομμάτι ("No More Saturday Nights").
