"Ride the Lightning" τιτλοφορείται ο δεύτερος δίσκος των Metallica που κυκλοφόρησε το καλοκαίρι του 1984 ("χρυσή" χρονιά για το heavy metal το 1984). Είναι το τελευταίο album των Metallica στο οποίο συμμετέχει συνθετικά ο David Mustaine (στο instrumental "The Call of Ktulu" και στο ομότιτλο τραγούδι).

Στο ομότιτλο θα εστιάσουμε στην παρούσα ανάρτηση παρακολουθώντας τους Metallica να το αποδίδουν live στο Μοντρεάλ του Καναδά (Stade Olympique) προ ημερών (13 Αυγούστου 2023). Σύμφωνα με την επίσημη ιστοσελίδα της Αμερικάνικης μπάντας το "Ride the Lightning" έχει παρουσιασθεί "ζωντανά" 398 φορές. Η πρώτη ήταν στις 31 Οκτωβρίου 1983 στο Λονδίνο και η πλέον πρόσφατη στις 27 Αυγούστου 2023 στο Λος Άντζελες...
