Η παρούσα ανάρτηση είναι εξαιρετικά αφιερωμένη σε όσους είχαν αφίσα της Lee Aaron (και λοιπών "Metal Queens") στο δωμάτιό τους την δεκαετία του ογδόντα. Σε αυτούς απευθύνεται. Οι υπόλοιποι δεν θα "νιώσουν"!

Η Καναδή τραγουδίστρια και πάλαι ποτέ Metal Queen (Karen Lynn Greening το κανονικό ονοματεπώνυμό της) δισκογραφεί ανελλιπώς από τις αρχές της δεκαετίας του ογδόντα μέχρι και τις ημέρες μας.

Έχει κυκλοφορήσει 15 full length albums, πέντε συλλογές, καμιά εικοσαριά singles, ενώ συμμετείχε σε έναν δίσκο των Scorpions ("Savage Amusement") και των Kick Axe ("Welcome to the Club", τραγουδιά στην διασκευή στο τραγούδι των "With a Little Help from My Friends").

Το τραγούδι "Metal Queen" το γνωρίσαμε μέσα από τον ομότιτλο δίσκο της Lee Aaron (το εναρκτήριο μουσικό κομμάτι) που κυκλοφόρησε τον Φεβρουάριο του 1984, ενώ "βγήκε" και αυτόνομα, ως single. Ο δίσκος αποτελεί τυπικά το ντεμπούτο της προσωπικής καριέρας της Lee Aaron αν και αποτελεί το δεύτερο δισκογράφημά της (το "The Lee Aaron Project" του 1982 κυκλοφόρησε υπό το όνομα The Lee Aaron Project κι όχι "σκέτο" Lee Aaron)...
