Το συγκρότημα The Iron Cross μας έρχεται από την Ρουμανία. Δημιουργήθηκε προ επταετίας από τον κιθαρίστα Andrei Cerbu. Το 2017 η αποχώρηση αρκετών μελών έβαλε την μπάντα στον "πάγο".

Δύο χρόνια αργότερα ο Andrei επαναδραστηριοποίησε τους The Iron Cross (οι οποίοι στο μεσοδιάστημα κυκλοφόρησαν το ντεμπούτο τους "Go Away") με νέα μέλη. Στο YouTube κανάλι της μπάντας υπάρχουν (και) βίντεο με διασκευές σε κλασικά rock / hard rock / heavy metal τραγούδια.

Ανάμεσά τους και το μουσικό κομμάτι των AC/DC "For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)" που το γνωρίσαμε μέσα από τον ομότιτλο (και ένατο) δίσκο των Αυστραλιανών hard rockers που κυκλοφόρησε τον Νοέμβριο του μακρινού 1981...

Bio: «The Iron Cross band was started in 2015 by Andrei Cerbu, because he wanted to play Heavy Metal. He was listening to the “parents” of this music style, like Iron Maiden, when he got the idea of making a teen band which could have limitless energy and ROCK the crowd!

They appeared on many stages in Romania, opening for groups like Trooper & Phoenix. Unfortunately, in 2017, several of the original band members moved on to other parts of their lives. So this project had to be left behind, but not forever!

The year 2019 knocked at the door and Andrei felt that it was time for a new beginning. He brought the band back to life with new members, all of them ready to ROCK! All the band members are from Iasi, Romania.

In 2018, The Iron Cross released their first album, “Go Away”, which has 7 songs. Unfortunately, because of the break this project had, it took 2 years to make an official release on all platforms of this album. You can find it on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon etc.»
