Μία δεκαετία πίσω οι Soldier μας παρουσίαζαν το δεύτερο full length album υπό τον τίτλο "Dogs of War", το οποίο (πρωτο)κυκλοφόρησε τον Αύγουστο του 2013 (από την Starhaven σε cd και τον Φεβρουάριο του επόμενου έτους από την High Roller Records σε διπλό βινύλιο).

Ο δίσκος επανακυκλοφόρησε (ως "Dogs of War - Reloaded") προ μηνός (22 Μαΐου 2023) με δύο διαφοροποιήσεις σε σχέση με την αρχική εκδοχή. Στην θέση του ορχηστρικού "Crash Course" το τραγούδι "Death Is" και αντί του επιλογικού "Hanging Tree" το μουσικό κομμάτι "Magician".

Οι Soldier δημιουργήθηκαν το μακρινό 1979 από τον κιθαρίστα Ian Dick. Έμειναν ενεργοί για μία τετραετία, διαλύθηκαν το 1983 και επανήλθαν πριν εικοσιένα έτη. Έχουν κυκλοφορήσει τρεις "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους, δύο live albums, ισάριθμα EPs, δύο συλλογές, ένα demo και τρία singles...
