Οι Tribulation μας έρχονται από την Σουηδία. Ξεκίνησαν ως death metal μπάντα, αλλά στην πορεία "μετακινήθηκαν" σε πιο gothic μονοπάτια, αν και ίδιοι αποκαλούν την μουσική τους απλά ως Metal / Rock. Μας παρουσιάζονται κάπως έτσι:
Έχουν κυκλοφορήσει πέντε "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους, ένα demo, έξι EPs, ισάριθμα singles και ένα "ζωντανά" ηχογραφημένο album. Ως Hazard (πριν μετονομασθούν σε Tribulation το 2004) έβγαλαν δύο demos.
Το νέο τους δισκογραφικό πόνημα είναι επίσης ep (το έβδομο). Τιτλοφορείται "Hamartia", θα κυκλοφορήσει από την Century Media Records σε cd, βινύλιο, ψηφιακή μορφή και περιλαμβάνει τέσσερα τραγούδια. Μεταξύ αυτών και την διασκευή στο τραγούδι των Blue Öyster Cult "Vengeance (The Path)", για το μουσικό βίντεο της οποίας ο κιθαρίστας Adam Zaars μας λέει:
«Emerging from the darkness of the Swedish death metal abyss in 2004, the band immediately stood apart from what was already a crowded scene, betraying an uncompromising vision that refused to be shackled by any genre stereotypes.»

«We felt that 'Vengeance (The Pact)' deserved a video as well, and considering the lyrical content of the song, a stop-motion approach seemed like the way to go. It's an idea we've entertained before, and we're very glad Selmer Kastalje was available to help us bring this idea to life.»
