Μία δεκαετία πίσω μας γυρίζουν οι Soldier "ανεβάζοντας" στο YouTube κανάλι τους το μουσικό βίντεο του τραγουδιού "Dogs of War" από το ομότιτλο full length album που (πρωτο)κυκλοφόρησε τον Αύγουστο του 2013 (από την Starhaven σε cd και τον Φεβρουάριο του επόμενου έτους από την High Roller Records σε διπλό βινύλιο).

Οι Soldier δημιουργήθηκαν το μακρινό 1979 από τον κιθαρίστα Ian Dick. Έμειναν ενεργοί για μία τετραετία, διαλύθηκαν το 1983 και επανήλθαν πριν εικοσιένα έτη. Έχουν κυκλοφορήσει τρεις "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους, δύο live albums, ισάριθμα EPs, δύο συλλογές, ένα demo και τρία singles...
