Στο μεταίχμιο δύο δεκαετιών, στις 14 Απριλίου του 1980, οι Judas Priest κυκλοφόρησαν τον έβδομο "ολοκληρωμένο" δίσκο τους υπό τον χαρακτηριστικό τίτλο "British Steel".

Έναν μήνα αργότερα κυκλοφόρησε αυτόνομα ως single το τραγούδι "Breaking the Law" (με το "Metal Gods" στην δεύτερη πλευρά του βινυλίου), το οποίο αποτέλεσε μία από τις μεγαλύτερες επιτυχίες του συγκροτήματος. Τριάντα χρόνια αργότερα οι Firewind παρουσίασαν την δική τους προσέγγιση σε ένα από τα πλέον αναγνωρίσιμα heavy metal τραγούδια.

Την διασκευή του Ελληνικού σχήματος την ακούμε στον δίσκο "Days of Defiance" που κυκλοφόρησε το 2010. Για την ακρίβεια υπάρχει ως bonus μουσικό κομμάτι στην Ιαπωνική έκδοση του δίσκου (η οποία κυκλοφόρησε από την Avalon) και στην Limited edition / Digibook έκδοση του cd που κυκλοφόρησε η Century Media Records...
