Το 2005 δημιουργήθηκαν στην Σουηδία οι Rough Diamond. Κυκλοφόρησαν έναν "ολοκληρωμένο" δίσκο ("Stories from the Old Days" 2012) και τέσσερα EPs. Πριν από εννέα χρόνια μετονομάσθηκαν σε Kardinal Sin και με αυτό όνομα συνεχίζουν μέχρι τις ημέρες μας. Μας παρουσιάζονται - συστήνονται κάπως έτσι «Kardinal Sin is a Swedish Melodic Power Metal band with classic heavy metal influences.»
Το 2017 "χτύπησαν" δισκογραφικά εις διπλούν με το ομώνυμο ντεμπούτο τους και το album "Victorious".
