Οι Terra Atlantica μας έρχονται από την Γερμανία. Δημιουργήθηκαν προ οκταετίας, μας παρουσιάζονται κάπως έτσι:

«Out on the Atlantic Ocean, disguised in a cloud of eternal haze, lies the mystical realm of Terra Atlantica. A city once divine but fallen in disgrace with the gods, cursed to spend eleven thousand years at the bottom of the sea, now resurrected to restore the ancient order on the seven seas. The countless tales emerging from this eternal circle of rise and decay are coming alive through our music»

...και αρέσκονται στο (Ευρωπαϊκού τύπου) μελωδικό power metal αναφέροντας ως επιρροές μπάντες όπως οι Edguy, Rhapsody, Gloryhammer, Sonata Arctica, Freedom Call, Twilight Force, Gamma Ray, Helloween, Alestorm, Angra, Blind Guardian, Orden Ogan. Έχουν κυκλοφορήσει τρεις "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους (συν μπόλικα singles).

Το πλέον πρόσφατο πόνημά τους τιτλοφορείται "Beyond the Borders" και "βγήκε" στα μέσα του πρώτου φθινοπωρινού μήνα (16 Σεπτεμβρίου 2022) μέσω της Pride & Joy Music. Στο album βρίσκουμε και αρκετούς καλεσμένους καλλιτέχνες όπως τον Anders Sköld (Veonity), τον Joan Pabón (Tragedian) και την Kathi (Katharina) Stahl.

Στο πλαίσιο της δημιουργίας του δίσκου η Γερμανική μπάντα "έτρεξε" μία καμπάνια... πληθοχρηματοδότησης (crowdfunding που λένε και στο χωριό μου) ζητώντας από όσους συμμετείχαν να τους προτείνουν - ζητήσουν τραγούδια για να τα διασκευάσουν.

Η τρίτη (από τις τρεις διασκευές) αφορά την προσόγγισή της Γερμανικής μπάντας στο (υπέροχο) τραγούδι των Alan Parsons Project "Eye in the Sky". Η αυθεντική εκδοχή του τραγουδιού μας γυρίζει πίσω στο 1982 και τον ομότιτλο δίσκο των A.P.P.

Bio: «Terra Atlantica was founded in December 2014 by singer Tristan and drummer Nico, who knew each other from a former project. Both could finally fulfill their dream of playing in a classic Power Metal Band, following the style of their idols like Edguy, Avantasia or Rhapsody.

They completed their crew with bassist Nick and guitarist Mike. Quickly, the idea of singing about the saga of Atlantis and other nautical themes developed and the first album ‘A City Once Divine’ was written. Catchy choruses, polyphone vocals and epic orchestration became of great importance to the band.

The debut was released in 2017, along with the video to the all-time favourite ‘Atlantica’. In the following years they played some bigger shows with other bands like Majesty, Stormwarrior, Grailknights or Victorius. In time there were some changes made to the lineup, causing the second album to become a solo effort by Tristan and Nico for the most part.

Meanwhile the crew is complete again with Julian on bass and Dawid on guitar. The second album "Age of Steam" was released on August 14th, 2020 via Pride and Joy music and gets positive feedback from all over the world.

During the pandemic, the band has already recorded their third album "Beyond the Borders", which was released on September 16th, 2022. In spring 2023 the band will go on a big tour in Germany together with Victorius and Grailknights.»
