Το 2017 μας συστήθηκαν με το single "Firebreed". Το επόμενο έτος (2018) ακολούθησε το ομώνυμο ep και προ επταμήνου ο πρώτος "ολοκληρωμένος" τους δίσκος υπό τον τίτλο "Midnight Flames". Ο λόγος για τους Stygian Oath, οι οποίοι μας έρχονται από την Θεσσαλονίκη και δημιουργήθηκαν προ επταετίας.

Η δισκογραφική τους εταιρεία (Stormspell Records) παρουσιάζει το "Midnight Flames" κάπως έτσι: «Long-awaited debut album by the epic heavy / power metal combo from the land of the Ancient Gods, worshiping at the altar of Judas Priest (Painkiller circa), early Omen, Lizzy Borden, Crimson Glory, Malice just to name a few.»
