Satan's Blade - 'Curse of the Blade' (official album stream)

Προ οκταετίας σχηματίσθηκαν στην Καλιφόρνια οι Satan's Blade. Old school heavy metal μπάντα με σλόγκαν «Up the blades and down the hammers.» Η Stormspell Records περιγράφει την μουσική τους κάπως έτσι: «imagine 80s Manilla Road and Cirith Ungol, but played by early Overkill.»

Πρωτοσυστήθηκαν στον κόσμο με το demo του 2015 "Curse of the Blade" που περιείχε μόνο instrumental συνθέσεις. Ακολούθησε το (περσινό) single "Cobra Strike" και -προ ημερών- ο πρώτος ολοκληρωμένος τους δίσκος υπό τον τίτλο "Curse of the Blade".

Το album κυκλοφόρησε αυτοχρηματοδοτούμενο ψηφιακά, ενώ σε φυσική μορφή θα "βγει" μέσω της Stormspell Records, η οποία αναφέρει σχετικά:

«I'm happy to announce that we've teamed with our homies from Satan's Blade and will be releasing their debut album "Curse of the Blade."

A very interesting amalgam of epic traditional 80s metal, but delivered in raw powerful and energetic thrashier style.

Just to give you an idea, imagine 80s Manilla Road and Cirith Ungol, but played by early Overkill. You don't have to take my word for it though.
