Στο φετινό μουσικό φεστιβάλ Wacken Open Air εμφανίσθηκαν (και) οι Epica και τους βλέπουμε - ακούμε να αποδίδουν "ζωντανά" το τραγούδι "Cry for the Moon", το οποίο αποτέλεσε μέρος του δίσκου "The Phantom Agony" που κυκλοφόρησε πριν από 19 χρόνια (Ιούνιος 2003), ενώ "βγήκε" και αυτόνομα ως single το επόμενο έτος (Μάιος 2004).

Οι Epica "υπάρχουν" στο μουσικό σύμπαν από τις αρχές της χιλιετίας. Σχηματίσθηκαν από τον Mark Jansen το 2002 όταν αποχώρησε από τους After Forever. Αρχικά (για έναν χρόνο) ως Sahara Dust (με την Helena Iren Michaelsen στα φωνητικά) και στην συνέχεια ως Epica. Το όνομα της μπάντας είναι εμπνευσμένο από τον σχετικό δίσκο των Kamelot ("Epica", Ιανουάριος 2003)...
