Τι εστί Resistance; Η θεωρία της... σχετικότητας σε πλήρη εφαρμογή. Τί εννοώ; Το Αμερικάνικο συγκρότημα των Resistance είναι παλαιό και (σχετικά) νέο συνάμα. Πως γίνεται αυτό; Δημιουργήθηκαν την δεκαετία του ογδόντα, αλλά ως Resistance εμφανίσθηκαν τούτον τον αιώνα! Σας μπέρδεψα; Είναι απλό. Έτος δημιουργίας: 1987, όνομα: Caustic Visage (αρχικά -για πολύ λίγο- ως Heathen).

Διέλυσαν το 1990 και επανήλθαν έναν χρόνο αργότερα ως Anarchy Divine. Αυτό κράτησε για μία τετραετία. Επαναδημιουργήθηκαν (ως Resistance πλέον) την τρέχουσα χιλιετία. Έχουν κυκλοφορήσει δύο EPs ("A Certain Sorrow" 2002, "Volume I Battle Scars" 2015), ένα single ("Till Dust Return" 2003) και τέσσερις ολοκληρωμένους δίσκους ("Lies in Black" 2004, "Patents of Control" 2006, "Metal Machine" 2017, "Skulls of My Enemy" 2022). Εστιάζουμε στον τέταρτο και πλέον πρόσφατο που σηματοδότησε την δισκογραφική επιστροφή της μπάντας μετά από μία πενταετία...
