Η Leather Leone έγινε γνωστή στους heavy metal κύκλους ως τραγουδίστρια της μπάντας του David T. Chastain (των Chastain δηλαδή). Στα 80s είχε δημιουργήσει και το δικό της προσωπικό σχήμα, τους Leather, που κυκλοφόρησαν έναν δίσκο το 1989 (το "Shock Waves").

Η μπάντα επανεργοποιήθηκε προ διετίας με νέους μουσικούς (συν την Leather βεβαίως - βεβαίως) και επέστρεψε δισκογραφικά μετά από 29 χρόνια (βλ. το album "II" που κυκλοφόρησε το 2018). Η συνέχεια δίνεται στα τέλη του επόμενου μήνα με τον δίσκο "We Are the Chosen"...

Her life-affirming lyrics run like a thread through all ten tracks of the disc, spanning an atmospherically dense arc to the programmatic finale 'The Glory In The End'.
