Kostas Kazakos: Odysseus And Calypso (Narration From The Revenge Of Odysseus)
Δελτίο τύπου: «With the passing of Kostas Kazakos, a true giant has left our earthly realms. Yet, while he may be gone, he will never be forgotten. A beloved actor on the stage, on the big screen, and on television, a director and politician, Kostas had a long and successful career in his country, Greece.
Manowar had the privilege of working with this talent for a project that means a lot to us: “The Revenge Of Odysseus” - a retelling of Homer's Odyssey, the legendary tale of Odysseus, his long and perilous return to his family after fighting in the Trojan war, and his ultimate revenge on the intruders who attempted to take control of his home and family.
For the Ancient Greek narration of the parts of Odysseus, there was only one choice for us: legendary Kostas Kazakos, the “Greek Orson Welles”. Like the Hollywood icon, Kostas had a larger-than-life persona, was gifted with many talents, and an impressive voice that could shake the ground.
Even those who do not speak Greek can appreciate the charisma and passion of this great man. We will forever be grateful to have met and come to know Kostas, and his brilliant son Konstantinos, who gave life to the part of Telemachus alongside his father.»
