Μία φίλη της μουσικής των Darkwater, η Sherry L. Grandy, δημιούργησε ένα lyric video για το τραγούδι "Light of Dawn" που το γνωρίσαμε στον πλέον πρόσφατο δίσκο της Σουηδικής μπάντας "Human", ο οποίος κυκλοφόρησε τον Μάρτιο του 2019.
Το βίντεο ανάρτησαν οι Darkwater στο YouTube κανάλι τους και η (δημιουργός) Sherry (η οποία επαγγέλλεται digital artist) λέει σχετικά:
«This video almost never saw the light of day. I came up with the concept a little over 3 years ago after hearing and falling in love with Darkwater's album "Human". This song really spoke to me. I was able to relate to it on a personal level. The only problem was, that I had no idea how to get the imagery out of my mind and into a video.
I decided to try to create it in Unreal Engine. I was no stranger to creating 3D imagery, but I had no idea how to use this software. I made a list of everything that I could think of that I wanted this video to have in it, and then I searched for tutorials.
I literally learned how to do this as I went. There are some things that I was never able to figure out, so I had to omit them. I attempted this project several times over the years, but became discouraged and gave up each time. Finally, last April I decided that I HAVE to do this or I would forever regret it.
4 1/2 months later it was finally complete. I cannot begin to describe the sense of accomplishment that I feel right now. As I was creating this, I felt that not only did the story fit my interpretation of the song, it sort of represented its own conception, the trial and error, and finally success. Is it perfect? Far from it.....but I will create more in the future and each one will be better than the last :)»
