Το 2013 σχηματίσθηκαν στην Κόστα Ρίκα οι Destiny. Δύο χρόνια αργότερα (και μετά την κυκλοφορία ενός δίσκου) μετονομάσθηκαν σε Wings of Destiny συνεχίζοντας μέχρι και τις ημέρες μας. Power metal μπάντα, η οποία μας παρουσιάζεται κάπως έτσι:
Οι Wings of Destiny έχουν κυκλοφορήσει έξι full length albums με πλέον πρόσφατο το "Memento Mori" που "βγήκε" το περασμένο καλοκαίρι. Καινούριο μέλος της μπάντας ο πρώην κιθαρίστας των Manowar, David Shankle, ο οποίος εντάχθηκε την τρέχουσα χρονιά. Στις 24 Φεβρουαρίου η μπάντα μας τον παρουσίασε κάπως έτσι:
Η νέα μορφή των Wings of Destiny μας παρουσιάστηκε με το single "Rise above them all" και την διασκευή τους στο τραγούδι των Manowar "Ride the Dragon". Το νέο single των Wings of Destiny τιτλοφορείται "Never surrender"...
Wngs of Destiny: «This song was written initially by Marco Garau (Magic Opera, Derdian) as a piano piece for his solo album. He gave this theme to Anton Darusso to see what he can come up with (lyric wise and arrangement wise).
Anton, took it to the band, applying WOD style to the piano instrumental it turned into a power/symphonic melodic metal epic piece, taking it further and adding blasting and some unique solos by our “axe men” David Shankle and Andres Castro it turned into a shredding song.
"Never Surrender" is about life of an inspiring musician, artist or novelist who is dedicating his life to create fantasy stories & music and even though life is challenging and can be very hard at times this artist never surrenders and keep going strong.
Great melodic metal song by the band in a such a unique style, one more anthem for our fans to sing along. The cover art was developed by our talented Colombian artist Harley Velasquez. This song was recorded and arranged in JPC Studios, Costa Rica (Juan Pablo Calvo). Mixed & mastered: Grave town Studios, Bielorrusia (Alex Stetsyuk)»
