Το συγκρότημα Galladorn δημιουργήθηκε προ διετίας. Διμελής power metal μπάντα, η οποία αποτελείται από τον Αμερικανό μουσικό Chris Johansson (που έχει αναλάβει τα πάντα) και τον Άγγλο τραγουδιστή Craig Cairns.
Μέχρι τώρα επικοινωνούν την μουσική τους μέσω singles. Τέσσερα έχουν κυκλοφορήσει, τρία με διασκευές (σε τραγούδια των Hammerfall - "The Dragon Lies Bleeding", Iced Earth - "Dark Saga" και Ronnie James Dio - "Rainbow in the Dark") συν ένα δικό τους μουσικό κομμάτι ("The Cauldron Born").

«A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund. Together, let’s make this release as massive as possible as we celebrate Dio and join in the fight against cancer.
I have been listening to Dio’s music for a big part of my life and needless to say, he’s always been a huge inspiration to me. Whether it be Black Sabbath, Rainbow, or DIO, his influence on all things rock and metal cannot be overstated.
However, it wasn’t until I began production on this cover that I came away with a greater appreciation of his talents. Many artists who chose to cover this song drop it down a half step, sometimes even further than that.
The fact he was able to sing some of these notes with such grit and body in standard tuning is incredible. I know I had to push @craig_cairns_vocalist to stay in standard rather than drop it down a half step. I am proud to say he definitely rose to that challenge and the song is all the stronger for it.
As always, mixing and mastering duties were handled by the incomparable @mendelian. Artwork was done by my friend @surryas and this marks our second collaboration together.
I am also excited to announce that for the first time, we have a guest musician joining the Galladorn family on this track! I’ll leave that for another post as this one is already long as it is! Hope you all are well.»
