Το μακρινό 1980 ο Matthias Lasch (γνωστότερος ως Mat Sinner) δημιούργησε τους Sinner, ένα από τα παλαιότερα και ιστορικότερα heavy metal σχήματα όχι μόνο στην Γερμανία, αλλά και σε ολάκερη την Ευρώπη. Παρά την παρουσία του Mat σε άλλα σχήματα (Primal Fear, Silent Force, Jorn, Kiske / Somerville, Level 10 κλπ) οι Sinner παραμένουν ενεργοί μέχρι τις ημέρες μας έχοντας κυκλοφορήσει 19 "ολοκληρωμένα" albums, 12 singles, 7 συλλογές κι ένα live album. Το νέο τους δισκογραφικό πόνημα φέρει τον τίτλο "Brotherhood" και αναμένεται στην "καρδιά" του καλοκαιριού...
