Night unfolds its wings around the waxing moon
Shadow overtakes an unsuspecting band of fools
The evil in this land will make a mess out of your mind
Can’t tell left from right, best friend from barrow-wight
The last liege of Cardolan lies in this tomb
Fallen before the glorious, ultimately victorious Carn Dûm
Tonight’s sacrifices all in white gowns
Sleep beneath the fog on the Barrow-downs
Our prize, the four pale travellers, emit a greenish radiance
Dreaming fitfully in vain about deliverance
Laid across their necks a silver blade
Hungry for a hand to seal their fates
So it begins the bell now strikes the hour
The chamber starts to crackle with our returning power
A bone-chilling, blood-curdling chant comes from deep within the mound
Echoing through the fog on the Barrow-downs
Never more to wake from your stony bed
Never till the sun fails and the moon is dead
In the black winds, the stars shall die
No light can stand against the might of the Lidless Eye!

Μας έρχονται από το Γκέτεμποργκ της Σουηδίας και ονομάζονται Riders of Rohan. Πρόκειται για heavy metal τρίο εμπνευσμένο από την "Μέση Γη" του Τόλκιν, με την μουσική τους πρόταση να μας γυρίζει στο πρώτο μισό της δεκαετίας του ογδόντα κυρίως προς Βρετανία μεριά! Το ντεμπούτο τους φέρει ως τίτλο το όνομά τους και κυκλοφορεί ήδη. Πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα περίπτωση...
