Wendy O. Williams - 'Bump and Grind' (Live In London, 1985)
Μετά την κυκλοφορία του δίσκου "Coup d'État" (1982) οι Plasmatics περιόδευσαν μαζί με τους KISS. Με το δισκογραφικό τους συμβόλαιο με την Capitol Records να είναι στο "αέρα" την μπάντα ανέλαβε ο Gene Simmons, ο οποίος πρότεινε -σύμφωνα με τα δημοσιεύματα της εποχής- οι Plasmatics να μην χρησιμοποιήσουν το όνομά τους (αλλά της τραγουδίστριας Wendy O. Williams) για να αποφύγουν νομικής φύσεως θέματα με την Capitol.
Το 1984 κυκλοφόρησε το ντεμπούτο της Wendy O. Williams υπό τον τίτλο "WOW". Στο μπάσο και στην παραγωγή βρίσκουμε τον Gene Simmons (Reginald Van Helsing ως μπασίστας), ενώ η σχέση του δίσκου με τους KISS δεν εξαντλείται στον Simmons, καθώς μετέχουν επίσης ο Ace Frehley (στο "Bump and Grind"), ο Paul Stanley ("Ready to Rock") και ο Eric Carr ("Legends Never Die").
Στην παρούσα ανάρτηση θα παρακολουθήσουμε την Wendy O. Williams να αποδίδει "ζωντανά" στο Λονδίνο το τραγούδι "Bump and Grind" (από το εν λόγω album) το μακρινό 1985...

➤ Greg Smith on bass, who later played with everyone from Alice Cooper, Ronnie James Dio, Ted Nugent and others. He was the touring bass player for the WOW album (on which Gene Simmons played bass for the studio version), and then the Kommander of Kaos album;
➤ TC Tolliver, Plasmatics long-term heavy hitter on drums. He also played on the Plasmatics "Coup D'Etat" album, the WOW album, as well as Kommander of Kaos.»
