The old Wizard arrived to the castle, and together with Alena decided to try the last possible rescue... Eldinaar. Eldinaar was a legendary axeman, a warrior stronger and more powerful that most of us could even imagine.

Many years ago he used to fight side by side with Alena's father, who was for him like a brother. Alena remembered that when she was a little girl, Eldinaar promised her he would return even from the grave, if she would need his help. Eldinaar was also the first one who started to call Alena "Crystal Viper"...

Well, indeed, this time he would have to return from the grave, as he died several years ago by unknown circumstances... His body was found in the middle of the battlefield, but he had no wounds. Only his legendary axe and shield seemed to have wounds, that were bleeding like the human ones...

Το τραγούδι των Crystal Viper "The Last Axeman" είναι αφιερωμένο στην μνήμη του τραγουδιστή των Omen, John David "J.D." Kimball, ο οποίος απεβίωσε το φθινόπωρο του 2003. Το "The Last Axeman" το πρωτογνωρίσαμε στο ντεμπούτο των Πολωνών metallers "The Curse of Crystal Viper" που κυκλοφόρησε τον Φεβρουάριο του 2007. Η επανεκτέλεσή του "βαφτίζει" το νέο δισκογραφικό πόνημα των Crystal Viper.

Πρόκειται για ep, το οποίο εκτός από την νέα εκδοχή του "The Last Axeman" περιλαμβάνει ένα καινούριο τραγούδι, δύο διασκευές σε τραγούδια των Diamond Head και των Ария, καθώς και τέσσερα τραγούδια (τα τέσσερα τελευταία) που υπάρχουν και στο πλέον πρόσφατο album των Πολωνών metallers ("The Cult"), μόνο που εδώ πρόκειται για "ζωντανές" ηχογραφήσεις στο στούντιο (τις οποίες έχουμε ήδη παρουσιάσει). Το "The Last Axeman" έχει προγραμματισθεί να κυκλοφορήσει σε λίγες ημέρες...

Δελτίο τύπου: «In theory "The Last Axeman" is a Mini-LP, but it actually includes more material than many full length albums. Side A starts with a new version of the early Crystal Viper classic and fan favorite: "The Last Axeman" and is followed by a brand new song entitled "In the Haunted Chapel" (which like all the songs from "The Cult" has lyrics inspired by an H.P. Lovecraft story).

The MLP includes a surprise cover song: remake of "Ulitsa Roz", originally recorded by Aria. All those 3 songs are exclusive and will be available on this MLP only, Side A however includes one more bonus song: remake of "It's Electric", the classic headbanger of the NWOBHM heroes Diamond Head. Side B includes 4 songs taken from "THE CULT" album, but recorded live in studio, as part of the #RockOutSessions series.»
