Προ δεκαετίας ο José Rubio Jiménez σχημάτισε στην Ισπανία τους Jose Rubio's Nova Era. Δύο χρόνια αργότερα αφαίρεσε το όνομά του και η μπάντα μετονομάσθηκε σε (σκέτο) Nova Era. Ισπανικό heavy / power metal συγκρότημα, το οποίο συνεχίζει μέχρι τις ημέρες μας (με κάποια διαλείμματα) κι έχει κυκλοφορήσει τρεις "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους. Ο πιο πρόσφατος φέρει τον τίτλο "The Curse" και "βγήκε" τον περασμένο Απρίλη...
