Το "The Deluge" ήταν ο πέμπτος δίσκος των Manilla Road. Κυκλοφόρησε τον χειμώνα του 1986 κι είχε την δύσκολη αποστολή να περάσει ανάμεσα από τις "συμπληγάδες πέτρες" του "Open the Gates" (που προηγήθηκε) και του "Mystification" (που ακολούθησε). Τα κατάφερε; ΝΑΙ, τα κοιτά κατάματα με υπερηφάνεια, αλλά (για κάποιον λόγο) δεν είχε την απήχηση των δύο άλλων. Όσο για την ομότιτλη τριλογία τα σχόλια περιττεύουν...
