Judas Priest - "Raw Deal" (audio)

Ο δίσκος "Sin After Sin" κυκλοφόρησε την άνοιξη του 1977 κι είχε δύσκολη αποστολή, καθώς του έλαχε η μοίρα να διαδεχθεί το "μυθικό" "Sad Wings of Destiny". Δεν το ανταγωνίζεται, αλλά πέρασε τον πήχη και συνετέλεσε (με τον τρόπο του) στο "χτίσιμο" του μύθου των Judas Priest.

Βέβαια καλύτερη στιγμή του δίσκου (κατά την άποψη του γράφοντος τουλάχιστον) παραμένει μία διασκευή ("Diamonds and Rust" της Joan Baez). Συν τις άλλοις ήταν ο πρώτος δίσκος της Βρετανικής μπάντας που απέκτησα (κάπου στο δεύτερο μισό των 80ς).

Στα φωνητικά είναι ο Robert Halford, στις κιθάρες οι Glenn Tipton - K.K. Downing και στο μπάσο ο Ian Hill. Τύμπανα παίζει (ως session) ο Simon Phillips, ο οποίος έχει συνεργασθεί επίσης με David Coverdale, Michael Schenker, Ian Gillan, Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani κλπ, ενώ το "χεράκι" στην παραγωγή του δίσκου έχει βάλει (και) ο Roger Glover...
