Το μακρινό 1995 σχηματίσθηκαν στην Ιταλία οι Anguish. Οκτώ έτη αργότερα (και μετά την κυκλοφορία τεσσάρων demos) μετονομάσθηκαν σε Anguish Force συνεχίζοντας μέχρι τις ημέρες μας. Στις 26 Ιουλίου απεβίωσε ο τραγουδιστής Mike Howe (βλ. Metal Church, Heretic, Snair) σε ηλικία 56 ετών.

Πως συνδέονται οι δύο (ξεχωριστές) αναφορές; Οι Anguish Force διασκευάζουν το τραγούδι των Metal Church "The powers that be" στην μνήμη του Mike Howe. Το εν λόγω τραγούδι το γνωρίσαμε στον δίσκο της Μεταλλικής Εκκλησίας "Blessing in Disguise" (το επιλογικό κομμάτι) που κυκλοφόρησε τον χειμώνα του 1989...
